Sunday Folks Cafe @ Chip Bee Gardens

Headed to Sunday Folks for tea at 3:30pm and realized they weren't open until 4pm but there was already a queue at the cafe!

Went in and my friend who queued with me thought that she should order everything on the menu since we waited for 30 minutes. 

We got the 

Waffle with gula Melaka ice-cream, lavendar jelly and gula Melaka mochi

Waffle with lavendar earl grey ice-cream and lemon cheesecake 

And the 

Matcha cake

Banana cake

Chocolate cake

Omg the waffle completely re-defined my opinion and relationship with waffles. The waffles had a crisp crust and a soft body, and blended so perfectly with the soothing tanginess of the earl grey lavendar and toppings of lemon cheesecake and lavendar jelly were just amazing. High standards set there for toppings instead of the usual slices bananas and plain mochi. My favorite is the gula Melaka mochi, not too sweet, not too soft, but amazingly addictive. 

Go try it!! 

PS they also have the main outlet called Creamier, and when I checked with them, they said that they use the same ingredients for the waffle except Sunday folks uses soft-serve ice-cream!
