Roux at the Landau Brunch

Mark has been raving about Roux at the Landau since forever. So we decided to try it once we reached London. We were really excited for the standard lunch but they have a special Sunday roast which was a 3-course meal that included half a glass of champagne.

The bisque was great.

Didn't like the fish so much. The sauce was really rich, and I think the chef tried to make the fish be bland so that it can carry across the flavor of the freshness of the fish along with the rich sauce, but this dish just didn't work it for me. 

Mark found this too tough to begin with, and the kitchen offered to do another one which was much better.

Most of the desserts were ready-made and were prepared very promptly.
