Sosharu by Jason Atherton Food Review
Sosharu is a new outfit opened by the proliferate Jason Atherton, who started Typing Room and Pollen Street Social. Was especially excited to try it since it was Japanese, and it was interesting to see how he interpreted Asian flavours. Brought Mark there for his birthday.
Very swanky and chic vibes, with waiters casually dressed in Evisu aprons. They recommended us to get 3-4 dishes each to share, and the must-try recommendation was the hand-rolled temaki.
Also liked the tsukune chicken meat ball dipped in egg yolk. The chicken skin was very well-prepared, with wafer-thin layers of succulent fat.
My favourite dish was the Miyazaki wagyu with garlic chips. So good. Similar to the wagyu I got in Tokyo. Props for that.
I didn't like the desserts very much. The mille crepe was good, but not as good as Lady M. The mango with coconut and Japanese rice, was the japanese slant of the eponymous mango sticky rice, but it didn't go down well with me.

The eggplant was extremely interesting with a crunchy bite and nice vegs garnishing it!
